Levels of Organizational Operations Supported by the Use of Computers

The survey in relation to the level to which the operations of the organizations are supported by the use of computers shows that: about 28% of the organizations indicated using computers to support below 10% of their operations. On the whole, close to 4% of the organizations indicated using computers to support all their operations and activities.The table and figure below indicates these.

Sectorial analysis of the study reveals that about 38% of the government ministries support less than 10% of their operations with computers. The corresponding figure for the public sector organizations is 17%. On the whole, the public sector organizations use computers to support a higher proportion of their operations and activities.
