National ICT Policy and Plan Development Committee
Survey of On-going ICT Projects and initiatives in Government Ministries
and Public Sector Organizations
As part of the committee’s nationwide consultative process, a survey of on-going ICT projects/ programmes and initiatives in the public sector was conducted. (The public sector comprises the various Government Ministries and some Public Sector Organisations, PSO). The purpose of this exercise was to find out whether there are ICT projects, and the kind of ICT projects being undertaken in the country, using the public sector as a case study. Questionnaires were sent out to the various Ministries and PSOs to provide information on ICT projects that have just been completed, underway or proposed.
