The National ICT Policy and Plan Development Committee had a Public lecture with the Staff and Students of the Valley View University 2002 as part of the National Consultative exercise aimed at developing for Ghana an ICT-driven socio-economic development policy and plan.

Some of the key Comments & Contributions

There is the need to harness other sectors of the economy since Agricultural alone cannot modernize the economy.

The government must do its best to absorb the cost in terms of making ICT possible in the country.

The policy must seek to address the dumping of junk computers into the country.

There is the need to make sure that we have right people in place to implement the ICT Policy and its corresponding plan.
